The gas station troll
Once upon a time there lived a very ugly troll. He had hair over
his whole body and a terribly bad breath. Because of his looks
he had no friends at all and that's why he lived alone in his
dark cave beside the motorway A27.
One day when he was looking for food on the nearest rest place
he saw the most beautiful woman in the world. Her car had broken
down and it was dark. So she was hiding in the toilets, because
she was very scared. The troll heard her crying and went to look
for her, but when the girl saw the terrible troll she was even
more frightened.
That was when the troll decided to shave all his hair to look
more human and so he did. After he had shaved he decided not
to live near the motorway any longer.
Because he looked like a human he got a job at the gas station.
One night he saw the beautiful girl again, but she did not recognize
him at first as a troll. Suddenly she fell in love with him and
they married.
But when the first child was born, it was very hairy. Then she
realized that she had married a troll, but love is stronger than
just looks!
And they lived happily ever after...
A magic sword
Once upon a time there lived
a friendly troll.
One morning a king came along. He was looking for a magic sword
for
himself.
So the troll took the king to a bad witch. She lived in a small
cottage in the dark forest. It was dangerous to get there, because
there was a strong storm. The troll asked the witch to trick
the king. The witch looked into a magic crystal ball and the
sword suddenly lay in front of them. The king wanted to take
it but the troll stopped him. Promise to do good with this sword
and you can take it with you! The king fell on his knees and
promised to do so. This was followed by a surprise: The witch
uttered a terrible cry and disappeared.
The king thanked the troll and traveled back to his country with
the sword.
